Jamie is the director and senior consultant at Assetivo and has a Master’s degree in Maintenance Engineering & Asset Management from the University of Manchester. As a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institute of Mechanical Engineering (IMechE), a Member of the Institute of Asset Management (MIAM), and a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), he has significant hands-on and professional experience, backed up with academic learning and credentials.
Jamie has been involved with asset management, maintenance, and reliability for over 20 years in many asset-intensive industries including automotive, steel, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, paper-making, chemicals, and energy generation. His journey has taken him from apprentice-trained technician, to technical author, to condition monitoring engineer, to reliability consultant, to senior asset management consultant, and, finally, director of Assetivo. Jamie has focused experience in asset management strategy, reliability improvement, maintenance strategy, condition monitoring, assessments, PM optimisation, root cause analysis, and much more.
